We think that the value of an object is expressed both through design and through the philosophy that inspires it, and that the choice of the seat plays a fundamental role in the design of spaces: concentrating, meeting or relaxing are activities that require a design and a philosophy different for each one of them. Is a synaesthetic experience that involves all the senses. The sight: in the choice of colors, which relax, energize or promote concentration. The hearing: through shapes and materials that generate a reduction in the acoustic impact, especially in phone booth sofas. The touch: the seat is in direct contact with our body and the choice of upholstery conveys sensations that influence the mood. Is an expression of the best of Italian manufacturing. The creation of the seats, thanks to highly qualified workers, guarantees total quality and attention to detail. The increase in production volumes has not affected the importance of tailoring in the creation of products, a quality that distinguishes the true «made in Italy».
An ethical and sustainable design
Research into design, attention to detail and respect for the environment have always been the basis of all SITLOSOPHY® seating projects. Each new model comes from the collaboration between the internal research group and professional designers, able to combine and synthesize originality, aesthetic appeal and ergonomics.
The design of the seat makes it recognizable and is a source of inspiration for designers in finding new solutions for setting up spaces. The form is all the more effective the more it helps those who use the space to exploit its full potential. In a context of sudden and constant evolution, flexibility and modularity constitute an added value, because they allow the space to be redesigned according to the activities to be carried out in it. The ethics of sustainability are refl ected in the choice of materials used, which are of high quality and have a low environmental impact. In recent years, the selection of suppliers has favored wood from responsibly managed forests, fabrics and plastic elements derived from recycled or easily recyclable materials.

SITLOSOPHY® is committed to quality and sustainability. It is certified according to the ISO 9001 quality standard which aims to optimize business processes by improving the efficiency of production and the service offered.
ISO 45001 certification attests attention to the health and safety of workers. Attention to the environment is evidenced by the ISO 14001 certification, which keeps the environmental impact of all activities involving production under control. The FSC® certification guarantees that the branded products are made with wood from forests with adequate environmental management, socially useful and economically sustainable. SITLOSOPHY® obtained the FSC® Italia Furniture Award 2020 in the community section in 2020. Look for FSC® certified products.
The safety of SITLOSOPHY® chairs is first of all guaranteed by the product certificates issued by renowned international laboratories, which perform tests on the safety and durability of the chairs and the materials used. In the field of safety and fire prevention, most of the models are in possession of the Ministerial Homologation class 1IM obtained from the Ministry of the Interior VVFF, which allows the use of the collections in various contexts for which specific fire reaction requirements are needed. In the regulatory field, we are part of the technical commission of UNI, the Italian National Unification Body that elaborates and publishes voluntary technical standards, promoting innovation and ensuring the constant adaptation of production to international quality standards.
Alongside the designers
SITLOSOPHY® is a partner of designers who furnish workspaces or collective spaces. To facilitate their work, the CAD libraries in various formats are available in the private area of the website allowing the creation of realistic photo projects.
SITLOSOPHY® is present on pCon Planner, the software for confi guring products and with which to create interior design projects in an intuitive way, also via tablet or smartphone.
For some models, native BIM libraries are also available, created to facilitate the inclusion of collections within projects created using Building Information Modeling software such as Archicad.

SITLOSOPHY® chairs are distributed in more than 80 countries around the world. Thanks to close agreements with the most important logistic partners, we guarantee a capillary distribution throughout the national, European and world territory, with a tracking of the transport throughout the journey.
